My face where they were actually returned to my desk Thursday morning: :O

Squishies are allowed in my classroom. I even have a couple of needohs of my own that I keep at the front of the classroom. One disappeared on Tuesday, but I just thought I misplaced it. The other disappeared on Wednesday. I knew that one was stolen because it was new in box and never moved from its spot.

I told the kids how disappointed I was because I didn't think any of them were thieves. "If a student could steal the needoh without me noticing, they can put it back without me noticing too. By the end of the day on Friday, I am going to find both needohs right here on my desk because I KNOW I don't have any thieves in my class."

Y'all I didn't expect it to work! 😭 One needoh was returned by first bell and the other one was returned by the end of morning meeting. I told the kids that I don't need to know who took them because I have already forgiven them.…
