This time, Woods turned his camera toward the Gold Coast’s most famous (and most crowded) wave, capturing a more chaotic side of Snapper Rocks. In a new video edit, Woods showcased Snapper turning into a high-stakes backwash lottery. Towering, mutant backwash rebounded off the razor-sharp headland, colliding head-on with reeling barrels as they wrapped around the point. The ocean energy was so unpredictable that Woods snapped his board on his very first wave of the session.
