I currently work as a sales associate, and when I combine my hourly pay with my commission, I make around $27 an hour. I'm primarily looking for a new job because I want a job where I can earn more money.
I've been invited to do a Zoom interview for two different sales jobs at the same company. Before that, though, they want me to fill out an application that is unique to their business. One of the questions is what my desired salary/hourly rate is, and I'm not sure what to put.
Glassdoor lists the salary range for both jobs as anywhere between $55k-$100k+ a year.
I don't want to lowball myself and earn more money, but I'm worried that if I put too high a number, they will reject me.
