Male in his late 20’s based in NYC and looking to upgrade my wardrobe after a breakup and now starting to date again (probably a tale old as time). I see it as a good opportunity to invest a bit more in myself, refine my style and build an improved wardrobe.

I think I have a fairly solid foundation with my current aesthetic/style leaning towards classic menswear, understated luxury and minimalism. Current favourite brands consist of Todd Snyder, frame, buck mason, Club Monaco, Charles tyrwitt, Uniqlo (pretty common brands but sometimes quality not matching the price point IMO). Shoes wise common project, Oliver cabells, axel arigato - literally just white sneakers. I’m not looking for items covered in logos, or too loud and colourful. I generally gravitate towards navy, white, cream, grey, olive, black and other earthy or muted colours.

I want to move beyond having a collection of individual nice pieces and develop a more articulated wardrobe.…
