Been saving up since the sale last December. Now to save up for the next sale this December. The cycle never ends I suppose. ;) 1) I still have some movies from December’s sale I still need to watch, so I’ll probably make a week of Kurosawa films soon and do Throne of Blood first from this set. 2) Eastern Condors and Lady Snowblood got cut from last December due to budget. So they were priorities for this time. 3) Once again, most are blind buys. Life of Brian and Captain Blood I’ve seen before (C.B. Is an upgrade from a DVD). I’ve been liking some music/concert films lately so went for Gimmie Shelter, Monterey Pop, and Hard Day’s Night. A number of picks are digging a little deeper (for me at least) into director’s works (Throne of Blood, Chronos, Shape of Water, Time Bandits). I’m mildly familiar the story of Musashi, so the Samurai Trilogy was of interest. I’ve heard Hell’s Angels has some interesting aerial photography. Godzilla vs Biollante is dipping my toe in a new genre for me.…
