It is a strange phenomena I've been seeing over the past few months. My news portal, 17 years of history, peaked at 5M visits per month only through Google just a few years ago before we were hit by September 2023 update.

I've been trying to revive it back ever since, our livelihood depends upon it, we're a team of 22 odd content writers/journalists and I'm trying to not fire anyone because of Google's algo. While diagnosing and micro-analyzing on a daily basis, I found a strange number. Bing, which was barely a source of our visitors suddenly gets us more than what Google does.

Also the AI citations have skyrocketed for Copolit/ChatGPT/Claude whereas, Gemini barely gets through us.…
