Made this a while ago, decided to show it off here, its a modified Xbox controller. i added more buttons, 3 potentiometers and an accelerometer. I used an ESP32-S module as the main brain as it was the smallest at the time i built it, but needed extra GPIO pins so have it communicating in serial with a Arduino pro micro which can be detected by my Xbox as a keyboard. I programmed it with the fauxmoESP.h library so i can press Xbox buttons or keyboard strokes using voice commands, i use it mainly when playing Microsoft Flight Simulator. I can fly the plane completely from take off to landing using my voice.

The ESP32 controls 2 multiplexers (HEF4067BT 16) that control 12 phototransistors (TLP281-4) each, each phototransistor collector is wired to a separate Xbox button. An accelerometer (MPU-6050) is also connected to the ESP32, and 2 potentiometers and 1 rotary dial. I needed more GPIO pins so i added a Ardudino Pro Micro.…
