Dubai: Dubai Design Week returns to Dubai Design District (d3) next week for its 12th edition, with exhibitions, outdoor installations, talks, workshops and a weekend market spread across the district.
Running from Tuesday, November 3, to Sunday, November 8, the festival is held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture. This year's programme looks at how design can strengthen connection between people, from the spaces they gather in to the languages they use.
"Design influences how we live, how our cities function and how we respond to change," said Natasha Carella, Director of Dubai Design Week.
