Carly Rae Jepsen is officially coming back with a new album. The Canadian pop star announced her latest release, Day and Night , a double album, Interscope Records announced Monday. It’s set to be released on Sept. 18, with the first single, “On Wires,” slated to drop later this week. The 24-track album is being described as her “most cohesive artist statement to date” and features 12 songs for day and 12 songs for night. “ Day and Night captures a blurred, dreamlike sense of time where nights stretch into mornings and days dissolve into nights, creating a feeling of being suspended inside a moment,” a release says of the album.
