Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time. A stingray found itself on the menu this week when three sharks were filmed thrashing through the shallow water off Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, in a feeding frenzy just feet from the beach. The wild footage was captured by a Shore Beach Patrol supervisor and shows the sharks circling and churning up the water as they apparently attack the ray. Local reporting described the trio as “likely feeding on a stingray.” Their species has not been confirmed.
