Do admin live in sunshine and rainbows world? I am so sick of admin not being present in the teaching world today and realize what it’s like teaching in a 2026 classroom. I had admin come in and do a lesson. After the lesson admin says “you might want to move these students away from each other, they can be chatty” as well as other “suggestions.” Really? I never thought of that. Wow what a great idea! I definitely have not already switched my seats around 20 times this year and have run out of places to put disruptive students. How about you come in and teach my class for a day and see what it’s really like. The same questions 20 times. The 0 ounces of respect. Absolutely no motivation to do work, all while I’m doing the job I’m supposed to be doing, such as teaching respect, motivating them, preaching kindness, and actually TEACHING. We deal with this everyday, every second, no matter how many times we remind them.…
