I have a couple friends that we have known each other since childhood. I started traveling at about 19 years of age. I am 26 years old now. They will always say wow cool trip that you’ve gone on, I will have to go on the next one. Yet they never come. They will always say oh I want to go somewhere with you, but there’s always an excuse that comes up and then they go ghost. Afterwards they will act like nothing happened and just ask me to hop on the video game. I constantly invite to them to every trip and it’s to the point I’ve stopped inviting. It does make me sad to not have any close friends that I travel with although I don’t regret anything because solo travel has changed my perspective on life. I’ve literally became a monetized, travel content creator. Yet still, my friends will not come and travel with me to cool locations around the world. Anybody else have friends like this?
