What is the first movie you plan to watch from your purchase and why? “Lenny” because Bob Fosse absolutely floored me with “All That Jazz”. Is there anything from this purchase that you have been looking forward to owning for a long time? I was incredibly relieved that Killers got a physical release instead of being trapped in streaming purgatory. Doubly happy that it’s a Criterion. Are any of your purchases blind buys? If so, why did you select them? Other than KOTFM and “Barry Lyndon”, they’re all blind buys. “Lenny” because Bob Fosse earned it. “Eyes Without A Face” because it’s regularly cited as a classic horror flick. Similarly I’ve heard phenomenal things about “Hara-Kiri”. What is a Criterion you’re hoping to add to your collection next? Waiting for “The Secret Agent” in September. submitted by /u/JohnnyVertigo [link] [comments]
