On Thursday, New York City held the championship parade for the Knicks , who, earlier this month, defeated the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals. Fans gathered en masse, including one who brought a cutout of Wemby in tears. When an ABC7 reporter asked the fan why he brought the cutout, the man sighed before saying, “This is just history right now.” He then added, “Forget this guy,” before praising New York, alongside the crowd.
