This is for a project I’m working on. If Kanto and Johto decided to share an entire Pokémon League of 8 Gyms total, which Gyms would they keep to represent the region as a whole? Who would be the Gym Leaders? Who would the Elite Four and Champion be? This isn’t limited to current Gym Leaders, for example, Kiyo could turn the Fighting Dojo into the new Saffron Fighting Gym, since he would have been the Gym Leader had he not been beaten by Sabrina. I’m curious to see what ideas will be discussed. For example, given that Blaine’s Gym was destroyed between the Kanto and Johto games, leading him to have a makeshift Gym in the Seafoam Islands, I’d imagine he’d just retire from being a Gym Leader at that point if a new League was being reconsidered
