Although John Wick ‘s journey would appear to be over, some old assassin pals still have some work to do.

Donnie Yen , who reprises his role as blind assassin Caine in a standalone Lionsgate movie that he’s directing, announced that the film is in production as he celebrated the first day of filming on Saturday.

Making his franchise debut in John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023), Yen’s Caine is a blind former High Table assassin who is forced out of retirement on assignment to kill Wick, in order to protect his daughter’s safety.
