The last two jobs I applied for both responded to me either same day or next day informing me that they are closing the position and not moving forward with interviews. They then stopped accepting applications on LinkedIn. Is anyone this becoming more widespread? I assume it is the sign of a bad economy they companies are deciding not to fill positions but curious if anyone had other takes.
