Thoughts on Insta comments Disabled

What are peoples thoughts of intentionally disabling comments on insta for a new clothing brand? I have weighed the pros and cons of doing this. There can be so much negativity spewed in the comments section by bots and people simply wanting to comment negatively. I am leaning closer to disabling purely to safeguard my own wellbeing, nothing more, and id be accepting the negatives of this.
