Why is Zealandia often called a continent? The land mass underneath New Zealand named Zealandia is often called a “lost continent” but the land mass (to my understanding) is smaller than Australia and if the land was above sea level wouldn’t it just be considered a larger country within the Australian or Oceanian continent?
