Kim Kardashian vulnerably recalled how her father, Robert Kardashian Sr., predicted her success in their final conversation before he died of cancer in 2003.

“The last thing my dad ever said to me was, ‘I know you’re going to be good — I can see it,'” the Skims founder told author Jonathan Van Meter in a new biography about her life titled “ Citizen Kim: The Woman Who Created the Future ,” per People .

“It’s as if I can see what your whole life is going to be like,’” the businesswoman remembered the late lawyer telling her. “My dad didn’t go into detail, and he was kind of in and out of it.”
