Lena Dunham went with a reinvention of an iconic Valentino shoe for the 2026 Met Gala in New York City on Monday, posing on the red carpet in one of Alessandro Michele’s takes on the Rockstud.

Dunham was outfitted in a bold red Valentino look for the star-studded occasion, where she is serving as part of the host committee. Her striking strapless gown featured sparkling sequins and voluminous feathers, with a high slit allowing for a leg and shoe-baring moment.
