My legs terrorise my closet with the way they hold on to fat.

My body for some reason just loves to deposit fat in my thighs, so much so that when standing upright they press into each other halfway down to my knees (and I do mean press, they're basically smushed into an inverted thigh gap). So much so that I'm -slightly- wider at my thighs than my hip.

This extra friction makes my pants gather and bunch up into my crotch while pulling away from other parts.

Not only is this "bunched up at the crotch and tensioned everywhere else" look bad in a fashion sense, but all that extra fabric and friction really does a number on my inner thigh and balls.

Are there any practical solutions for me here? Or is custom tailoring my only way out?

ps: I know the long term solution to save me from these unfortunate leg genetics is to lose the fat, but interim solutions until then are also very appreciated
