A little off-topic, but can anyone who has worked in fire/water removal and remediation ring in here? I’m considering a job and want to know what to expect.

I’ve been out of work for a while now. Would take anything to pay the bills. A friend of a friend does fire/water removal/remediation. They just deal with the furniture/objects to be moved, not the structures itself. Company provides PPE and all clothes except footwear.

The pay is acceptable, and I am used to moving furniture (carts, lifting straps, etc), as I worked for a moving company in a previous life.

This sounds like easy but gross work. What am I missing or not thinking about? What SHOULD I be looking out for or asking about?
