A heatwave is rolling into town and I’m looking for some movies that capture the oppressive heat, the boredom, the overall unpleasantness of a summer turned up too high.

Obviously the first one that comes to mind is Do The Right Thing. I’m wondering if there are any other movies with that type of color palette, intensity and pressure cooker feeling that I should check out this week. Bonus points for something international that shows me how heatwaves are handled in other countries.
