U.S. stocks continued to decline on Friday after another batch of discouraging earnings reports came from Amazon ( AMZN ) and Intel ( INTC ) that dragged the indexes. On the economic calendar, the Chicago PMI dipped to 55.3 in October, missing the 56.0 consensus, according to MNI and the Chicago Institute for Supply Management. Also, the Employment Cost Index grew 0.8% quarter-over-quarter in Q3, in line with expectations, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The coming week will kick off with S&P Global and ISM PMI data for October releasing on Monday. JOLTS job openings for September will be out on Tuesday, followed by ADP nonfarm employment change for October on Wednesday.…
