A man struck by a vehicle this month in the west Las Vegas Valley has died, marking the 100th traffic-related fatality in the Metropolitan Police Department’s jurisdiction for 2026.

Roland Bame, 75, died Thursday at University Medical Center, according to the Clark County coroner’s office, Metro said in a release Tuesday.

The crash occurred just before 7:15 p.m. Oct. 1 on South Torrey Pines Drive north of Celeste Avenue. The victim crossed Torrey Pines in a marked crosswalk when a 2000 Honda CR-V hit him. The driver remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment.
