Ubisoft recently revealed its worst-kept secret: Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced , and it actually landed surprisingly well with audiences. The game soared to the top of pre-order charts across several platforms, which alone seems to indicate a bright future for the remake. However, many noticed an overt lack of blood and an overemphasis on certain “videogame-y” sound effects, which Ubisoft is already addressing.

The Black Flag Resynced trailer features several combat scenes where Edward Kenway fights his way through numerous groups of soldiers and other pirates. It showed how Ubisoft reimagined the combat system for the remake , as well as displayed how different it is compared to the original. And it looked really good.…
