Charlie Sheen reflects on 'betrayal' of losing 'Born on the Fourth of July' role to Tom Cruise
Holland Taylor has revealed she walked away from her contract on Two and a Half Men after six years because of poor pay.
The 83-year-old actor was nominated for four Emmy Awards for playing Evelyn Harper, but claims she was never offered a salary increase.
When her contract expired in 2009, Taylor refused to renew it so she could have greater flexibility over her schedule.
Show producers told Taylor they could not afford to pay her more, though she agreed to return for occasional guest appearances until the series ended in 2015.
Her contract ended as part of a series of casting changes for the hit sitcom, which also included Charlie Sheen being replaced by Ashton Kutcher in 2011.
