In an interview, how can you professionally ask about expected workload?

I have a second interview for a position I would consider a "unicorn", as in they are looking for someone with skills that don't necessarily correlate.

I'm worried it will be a position where they should have hired two people rather than one, and the workload might be unmanageable. How can I ask about the expected workload without coming across as lazy?

I already asked about how they expect the position to function, and they answered it would be a 60/40 split, with 60% being administrative support and 40% being communications.
