A trailer for the upcoming animated series Death Stranding Isolations has been released ahead of its 2027 premiere on Disney+.

Disney+’s adaptation of Hideo Kojima ‘s critically acclaimed video game franchise Death Stranding was officially announced just under a year ago (November 2025). It’s being directed by Takayuki Sano, with Kojima executive producing, and will premiere sometime in 2027.

The series will tell a completely new story, separate from that of the video games, and will follow a young man and woman as they set out on an adventure. It also promises to introduce all-new characters into the Death Stranding universe.
