Labour has opened an eight-point lead over the Conservatives in the latest Ipsos poll, scoring 32 per cent to the Tories' 24 per cent, with Reform UK in third on 20 per cent.
The surge in support coincides with Prime Minister Andy Burnham taking leadership, with Labour winning back former voters and seeing support among 18- to 24-year-olds rise to 32 per cent.
Reform UK has experienced a steep decline in popularity following scandals involving donations, racism allegations, and competition from Rupert Lowe's Restore Britain party.
Mr Burnham has dismissed speculation surrounding an early general election, insisting no vote will take place anytime soon despite Labour's high ratings.
Opposition leaders, including Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch and Liberal Democrat leader Ed Davey, are nevertheless making preparations for a potential snap election.
