A Mississippi gunmaker and his wife were shot dead by a relative over a land dispute before he barricaded himself in a bathroom and took his own life, authorities revealed.

Walter Earnest Birdsong Jr., 62, and his wife Amanda Lynn Birdsong, 43, were killed by Kurt Birdsong inside their Florence home on Friday afternoon, cops told WLBT .

The shooting stemmed from a near decade-long dispute where Kurt, 56, claimed he wasn’t given a piece of land he said was promised to him by his late dad.
