Nicki Minaj shares Air Force One video as Trump hints at new White House press secretary

Rapper Nicki Minaj shared a video from aboard Air Force One as Donald Trump traveled to Michigan on the midterm campaign trail.

Minaj publicly voiced support for Donald Trump in 2025 and previously visited the White House in July 2026.

White House Director of Communications Steven Cheung shared a clip of the artist and joked that she might be the new White House Press Secretary.

“I think we may have found the new White House Press Secretary,” Cheung said.

The post on social media platform X follows the abrupt departure of former White House Press Secretary Katie Zacharia, who resigned just days after taking the position.
