Our Verdict

There's no way of avoiding the fact: this is an expensive screen. Thankfully, the Apple Studio Display XDR is also an excellent one, with remarkable brightness, broad colour coverage and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also has the Apple logo on it, and is really only compatible with the company’s latest Macs. So while it makes the ideal companion for a new Studio or MacBook Pro, the combination of its price and its niche appeal mean you might not see too many of these on your colleagues’ desks.
