Daphne Joy has accepted a date with DJ Akademiks despite the fact the hip-hop media pundit hasn't actually asked her out yet. On Friday (June 19), just a couple weeks after being interviewed by Akademiks, Joy, who shares a 13-year-old son with 50 Cent , sat down for a chat with Cam Newton on his Funky Friday podcast. Around the 1:10:00 mark of the video below, Joy eagerly told Newton that yes, she would go on a date with Ak. "It’s a, 'I'm ready at 8:00 p.m. right now,'" she said.
