Modest numbers, but Samsung’s Ultra has waited years for them.

Samsung has kept us waiting for years for a bigger Ultra battery, but a change may finally be on the horizon.

The Korean giant appears to have finalized the battery hardware, with details for the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra now showing up in South Korea’s safety records. Before that, China’s 3C records spotted the batteries (via GSMArena ).

What do the certification records actually show?

Less than you’d hope. Korea’s product-safety database, Safety Korea , lists two batteries labeled EB-BS958DBY and EB-BS957CBY. Both are manufactured by China-based Zhuhai CosMX Power Jinwan.

While the images in the records show the batteries, they don’t reveal their capacities.…
