President Donald J. Trump and Vice President JD Vance are aggressively shutting down the waste, fraud, and abuse that has drained billions from American taxpayers. As head of the White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud, Vice President Vance this week called on officials at every level of government to join him in a pledge to protect vulnerable Americans, keep taxpayer-funded benefits for Americans only, stop fraud before the money goes out, and hold fraudsters accountable.

Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent : “I am taking @VP’s Pledge to Protect Americans from Fraud. At Treasury, we follow the money. Over the past year, Treasury returned $175 million in payments that would have gone to deceased individuals and expanded Do Not Pay access to 99% of federal programs. Further, we stopped almost $190 million and returned over $100 million in funds that had gone overseas to U.S. victims.…
