California Gov. Gavin Newsom appeared on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Wednesday to discuss President Trump , the upcoming midterm elections and his political future — and he admitted even his own children are desperate for him to leave politics.

The expected White House hopeful ‘s freewheeling interview included embarrassing family revelations, a historical flub and getting roasted for his famously shellacked hair.

In response to a question from Kimmel, who also helped launch ex-Rep. Eric Swalwell’s disastrous campaign for governor , Newsom revealed that his 17-year-old daughter is literally counting down the days until he leaves office in January.
