There have been some heavy moments at The Wedge this summer, but the beach erosion and destruction caused by the relentless hurricane swells may be the heaviest of all. The crew at Yucca Fins have been on it, providing regular updates and info, and now they’re teaming up with the Surfrider Foundation for a beach cleanup. Taking place on Saturday, September 19, from 8:00am to 12:00pm, the timing couldn’t be better. Organizers are already expecting nearly 250 volunteers to show up, but that number could increase considerably depending on how many people you can cram in your rig.
