Stevie Wonder is suing his one-time fiancée in an attempt to evict her from one of his properties, where she has been living rent-free for nearly 40 years, according to Rolling Stone .

Carmen Efferson has lived in the three-bedroom Hollywood Hills property free of charge since 1988 under an oral agreement with Wonder. However, tensions recently escalated when representatives for Wonder attempted to enter the property for an inspection as part of an insurance renewal. Efferson allegedly refused them entry and sent Wonder’s attorney, David Huff, an email telling him to “fuck the fuck off.”

“Your rascist [sic] coldblooded ‘white male privilege’ tone (again with you). I am feeling harassed,” Efferson wrote to Huff. “Regarding your ORDERS of entering into the place where I am living, I do not consent.…
