I knew getting into this field the job hunt would be very hard. But I’ve been applying to both jobs and internships (about a total of 25 now) and have been denied or not heard back from pretty much all of them. (Getting automatically rejected at bigger companies) The few say I don’t meet the qualifications or experience needed for them so I’m wondering if my portfolio or resume are really showing my skills as a designer. Honestly, I’m not the most proud of my portfolio but I don’t know any free sites to design it on so it’s just been made on adobe portfolio that was recommended by my teacher. I’m about to graduate with my associates in December and I’m considering going for my bachelors since I feel like I still lack the skills that many others have.
