I currently work in admin/operations for a global company. It’s based in the office five days a week. It’s a varied role, and I do a bit of everything. Some weeks are very quiet, and I’m able to take longer lunch breaks and relax in meeting rooms, which I enjoy.

However, the job isn’t really aligned with what I studied at college. I’m looking for professional development and more money, so I’ve applied for a handful of jobs. I’m anticipating an offer from a medium-large national company. The job specialises in corporate events, offers hybrid flexibility after getting settled in, and would be $2k-$6k more than my current job.

I feel conflicted on whether to accept the offer if I get it. It would be more money and is more specialised however, I’m quite comfy where I am, even though it’s stagnant.

Any thoughts?
