Texas developers W. Tylere Brennan and Justin Hobson are no strangers to Las Vegas.
They both sold high-rise units in the flashy CityCenter project on the Strip some two decades ago, and Brennan, a third-generation Southern Nevadan, was born and raised here.
Now they’ve kicked off a real estate project of their own in the Las Vegas Valley: an upscale senior housing complex .
Their firm, Austin-based Investcor Development, recently broke ground on a 234-unit residential project off the east side of Green Valley Parkway just south of the 215 Beltway, near Whole Foods Market.
Rental rates have not been released yet, but Brennan said the $110 million complex will have independent and assisted living and memory-care units, along with numerous amenities.
As he outlined, these include a restaurant and bar; two gyms, with one for physical therapy; a rooftop deck; outdoor putting green; private movie theater; multipurpose rooms; spa and salon; whiskey lounge; and tea room.
