Free athletics stats portal: athlete pages, Elo and performance ratings, event pages & leaderboards

Hi all, we’ve opened up a free stats portal and would love feedback from people who follow the sport closely.

You can search any athlete and look at their stats from a slightly different perspective than usual. Alongside PBs and full results, every athlete has two ratings.

Elo measures head-to-head strength: it only cares about who you beat, so it rewards winning big races. Level measures results strength by converting performances into World Athletics points and tracking form over time.

Competitions have their own pages too. Besides results and past winners, you can dig into competition facts, such as how many season bests and personal bests were set in each event, what the weather was like on the day, and which meets were the strongest of the season in terms of quality.…
