S5 thoughts, correctly me kindly if I'm wrong... But, if Sannis had chilled at Dragonstone surely he would've eventually gotten the throne after Tommen died as Tommen was childless and nobody would've put Cersei on it then. Also possible, if Renley had also chilled, he would've gotten the iron throne as the younger brother or at least his children would have as Stannis' shadows or Shireen wouldn't have gotten the throne after his Stannis' death. And yes I know this one is a bit fuzzier with Marjaery in the mix marrying Renley and Tommen, but in my mind if he had chilled he also wouldn't have quickly married Margaery to help his cause.
