Introduction

The UNESCO Virtual Museum of Stolen Cultural Objects was created to make absence visible. Each stolen artifact represents a fragment of cultural memory removed from its community. Our mission was to translate that absence into a digital experience that feels both immersive and respectful, where technology serves memory rather than spectacle.
