Convicted January 6 rioter and far-right influencer Jake Lang is facing felony charges after prosecutors accused him of threatening to kill Karmelo Anthony, the Texas teenager recently sentenced to 35 years in prison for the fatal stabbing of Austin Metcalf. According to CBS News , Lang, whose legal name is Edward Jacob Lang, made terroristic threats that caused public fear and disrupted government operations. Prosecutors reportedly played a livestream in court in which Lang allegedly threatened to "shoot a murder defendant in the head." He was arrested on June 10, initially held on a $1 million bond, and his bond has since been reduced to $250,000. According to Fox 4 News , a Collin County judge has also barred him from entering Texas except for court appearances and meetings with his attorney.
