I know this maybe a loaded question, because ultimately I think imma look like a caricature because I’m stepping outside of western norms.

I come from SW Native America. We wear lots of jewelry, we used to wear sashes instead of belts, we wear moccasins and other things.
I am trying to find a way to dress as no consumerist and traditional as possible without looking like I’m coming straight out of a John Wayne film.

I have all the traditional stuff already, but how can I rock it while still navigating modern society and not looking gaudy?
