Once the design is ready, I cut the brass sheet, then using a hammer and various handmade chisels crafted from steel rods, I shape the volumes in reverse as required by the design so that I can later refine the details on the back and achieve a perfect finish. | Técnica ancestral que sigue viva. aquí muestro algunos procesos. Una vez tengo el diseño listo, corto la chapa de latón y con martillo y diferentes cinceles hechos a mano de varillas de acero voy sacando los volúmenes a la inversa que requiera el diseño, para poder modelar después en el reverso mas finamente y dar un acabado perfecto.
