I'm not a professional photographer in the least, just love photography as a hobby, and I never post on Instagram, just stories occasionally.
I know this question has been asked many times before but I just wanted to know from the pov of a normal person on social media, where catering to clients isn't required, how can I choose the best pics of the same type? For ex, I just attended a wedding, and the venue was amazing. It had like 30 chandeliers (big Indian wedding), so I took maybe 45 pics of just chandeliers and edited 18 best ones. now I obviously cannot post all of them, I'll lose aura, duh, but I also love each photo so much, I can only maybe narrow it down to 9, but it's still a lot. Also, there were no floors, so you can only take so many different angles of a chandelier from the ground.
So, what criteria would you follow to decide what to post in a way that captures all the important details and the quantity isn't too overwhelming?…
